Learning Technology Support
The Learning Technology Support (LTS) was formed by the School of Computer Science in August 2006 to help the School meet the aims of the Manchester 2015 Agenda, specifically Goal Four:
What does the LTS do?
Amongst its roles, the LTS is responsible for the administration and running Moodle, the adopted virtual learning environment (VLE) for the School of Computer Science. This work also involves finding better ways to integrate moodle into the schools existing systems. The LTS also:
- works with academic staff to support and enhance teaching using technology;
- advises on tools and features of the moodle VLE;

provides moodle training and workshops;

researches new tools and technologies that may support the school's teaching programmes.
